At Kaziranga Wild Trail, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent safari booking experience.
Since all safari bookings are made directly through the Government/Forest Department, certain rules and timelines must be followed strictly.
Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making a booking.
Because safari permits are issued by the Forest Department and are non-transferable and non-refundable, most bookings cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
However, if your request meets the conditions below, we will assist as per availability:
If you request cancellation before the Forest Department issues the permit, a partial refund may be processed after deducting processing charges.
Once permits are confirmed, no refund is possible under any circumstances, as per government rules.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed only in the following cases:
Duplicate payment made by the customer
Technical issues leading to failed booking
Permit not allotted by the Forest Department due to unavailability
Note: Refunds (if approved) are processed within 5–7 working days.
If the guest does not arrive at the reporting point on time, the booking will be treated as a No-Show, and no refund will be provided.
Safari date or time change is subject to availability and Forest Department approval.
Once a permit is issued, date changes are usually not possible.
In rare cases where the Forest Department cancels the safari due to:
Bad weather
Flooding
Strikes / Government orders
Wildlife protection issues
You will be eligible for a refund or alternative date, depending on department policy.
All online payments include applicable service charges (payment gateway fees, processing charges, etc.), which are non-refundable.
